I am not aware of any civil wrong or criminal offense a person commits by merely pointing out the truth about another, especially a public figure, yet, Gospel musician-Ama Boahenmaa seems to think she can drag people to court and slap them with a lawsuit for accusing her of bleaching…
Let me stop being silly and try to understand what Ama Boanhenmaa is saying. She stands on her grounds that she has NOT bleached or has not subjected her complexion to any sort of alteration—therefore, those accusing her of doing so are wrongly accusing her.
Perhaps, she has forgotten the Judge she will meet in Court has eyes too—and will see the obvious.
In fact, one of the defences of defamation is TRUTH so I am not sure how she will be able to sue anyone for saying the obvious truth.
Ama Boahenmaa who initially said her change in complexion is due to the fact that she drinks a lot of milk in Germany is reported as having told Adom Fm earlier this week that; “I don’t know why I should bleach. In fact I will sue the person if the picture is not removed from social media”.
Now that Ama Boahenmaa is about to set a legal precedent by suing all of us for accusing her of bleaching and sharing her photos, Yvonne Nelson, Asamoah Gyan, Daddy Lumba and the others may soon follow—so we better watch our backs and mouths…
If anyone deserves to be sued, then we should rather sue her and the other shameful bleachers for the disgrace…LOL
