Ghana’s president-John Dramani Mahama and his wife-Lordina are currently on an official visit to the United Kingdom—and as part of their trip, they visited the Buckingham Palace for a private meeting with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
We are told “President Mahama and the Queen discussed a number of issues of common interest to the two countries”. At the meeting, the Queen is reported to have expressed “interested in the First Lady’s health-related activities and humanitarian support”.
Also, President Mahama presented the Queen with a copy of his first book, My First Coup D’etat And Other True Stories from the Lost Decades of Africa.
