This is awkward as these cash making machine companies seem to be failing to understand that people are human beings and not robots—and procreation is essential part of our lives, far important career or work.
It’s been revealed that Facebook and Apple are offering women employees the chance to freeze their eggs– by paying for them, so they can have propose having babies and work.
“The extraordinary perk is aimed at boosting the number of women staff by allowing them to focus on their careers without sacrificing the opportunity to have children later in life” says MailOnline.
The two Silicon Valley giants are the first major employers to offer the procedure for non-medical reasons – and they are ready to pay £12,500 a time to cover the cost of putting the eggs on ice plus an additional £300-a-year for deep freeze storage.
It is pretty sad that no matter how much money a company makes, it owners will look making more—even if this calls for treating or pushing human beings to work like robots.
Soon, these companies will start paying people extra money not to take holidays so they can work around the clock—and eventually when a person loses it, they will lay him or her off and go for the next available candidate.
Gone are the days when companies genuinely cared about staff. Today they make it seems they care when in fact, they care about making more money than the general good of staff or the society.
