Lawyer and Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West- Ursula Owusu Ekuful has said Ghana is a country is sick—and even though she blames the NDC Mahama led administration for it, we think it goes deeper than that.
We play a lot of politics in Ghana, apportioning blames on political lines but the truth is, Ghana’s sickness goes deeper. Our government institutions and supervision is a rot, our religious bodies are worse, our schools are useless and most of the ordinary people are dumb—failing to think when needed.
Speaking on Oman FM in relation to the recently revealed National Service Secretariat (NSS) rot, Ursula said; “Ghana is sick at all levels. We must just protect what is left for this country. All state institutions are sick.”.
As indicated above, it is not only the state institutions or whatever institutions that are sick, the people themselves are sick—the mindsets of many Ghanaians are packed with greed, corruption, stupidity, ignorance and bigotry—a hallmark of 21st century sick country.
Why blame Mahama’s administration for the full rot?
