On Saturday 6th September, 2014, one Prophet Samuel Baffoe, Founder of Elshadai Prayer Ministry, located in Spintex, revealed on Adom TV’s Anansekrom that family of Castro consulted him to find out why Castro’s fate and to find out if he is indeed dead or alive.
“His family consulted me some few weeks after the whole tragedy happened. I told them before I work on the issue they should go and meet another spiritualist because the case is a thorny one. I therefore directed them to a spiritualist and the things they heard into their own ears, they were shocked! Castro’s tragedy is not normal! The kind of things our artists use to become famous, people have no idea” Prophet Baffoe said on Adom TV.
The latest information reaching GhanaCelebrities.Com is that, after the programme, Castro’s family and manager DJ Amess, were very angry at the prophet. Castro’s father called the said Prophet and lambasted the latter for ‘exposing’ them.
In an interview with GhanaCelebrities.Com, Prophet Baffoe stated that “after that radio interview, I’ve received several calls from my close friends and even people I don’t know- all accusing me for not behaving well, but the point is, the revelation is meant for the public!
“It did not come to me to keep as a secret! Besides, everything I’m saying is not coming from me so why should people be offended? Castro’s family called me to chastise me on phone – but I don’t care! I did what the Lord asked me to do for his children!”
In another development, revered lawyer, Maurice Ampaw, have said that upon his own investigation, he found out that a necklace worn by Castro was later found in a dustbin hours before he and his lady friend got missing.
“You cannot hide the truth, the truth is only one and I promise by the end of this month, I will come out with more revelations.”
The hip-life star got missing on the Volta estuary when he and a friend of his, Janet Bandu went jet skiing in the waters at Ada on 6th July, 2014. Castro and Black Stars captain, Gyan aka ‘baby jet’ were at the Peace Holiday Resort at Ada, together with some friends, for recreation when the unfortunate incident occurred and despite intensive rescue operations, they are yet to be found dead or alive.
