One week later and finally we are getting some news in relation to Castro’s missing body. But if it is processed to a logical conclusion, all the dramatics surrounding Castro the Destroyer and Janet Bandu’s disappearance will finally cease.
On Saturday, fishermen found an adult male body along the Sakumono Beach. The body was in a state of decomposition with some of the skin peeling off. The body which is 1.7 metres tall has since been handed over to the police. Although much speculation has already gone round suggesting that the body belongs to Theophilus Tagoe, Castro, the police insist we should all wait for a proper autopsy report since the state of the body does not permit easy identification.
Daily Guide reported that it was found at Mighty Beach and has been taken to the Korle-bu teaching hospital by some police personnel and Marine police.
The police are still processing the situation and are checking other missing person report. Also given that the body had been in the water for awhile, it cannot be identified without a DNA test but they say it is definitely that of n adult male in his early thirties.
Family members of Castro as well as other missing persons will be contacted shortly to make sure the right person is identified.
