The rumours are saying one thing and Menaye Donkor’s manager is saying another. According to Razz Newspaper, Menaye Donkor’s manager and sister-in-law- Nadia Twum Ampofo has said, Menaye and Sulley are still together—and that the split rumours are false.
The split rumour had it that, because of the split and tension between Menaye Donkor and Sulley Muntari’s close family, though Menaye Donkor was in Ghana when Muntari’s mother celebrated an important day in her life with friends and family, she did not invite Menaye.
But according to Nadia Twum Ampofo, Menaye had other engagements and that is why she did not attend the birthday party organised by her in-law. What engagements will be so important that she could not attend her mother-in-law’s birthday celebration—which happens once a year?
Interestingly, it has emerged that Menaye Donkor was spotted at the gym on the day and around the time the birthday party was going on…So people are asking, what engagement did she have if she was at the gym?
Now, the water is getting very muddy and we don’t even know who is hiding the truth from us.

Speculations are rife that the seemingly fairytale marriage between Ghana international soccer star, Sulley Ali Muntari and former beauty queen, Menaye Donkor may be over – but sources close to Menaye Donkor have denied the break-up rumours and called them laughable.
According to sources close to the couple, the two have been separated for months and living separately in Milan, Italy. The sources also claim that, the divorce proceedings are already underway and drinks have also been presented to Menaye’s family to annul the marriage.
Contrary to the news of the split, Menaye Donkor has been in Accra for the past couple of weeks, granting TV and radio interviews where she pays such glowing tribute to their marriage.
Ironically, Menaye, in all her television interviews has not been spotted wearing her wedding ring and some have raised eyebrows on her consistent refusal to don the ring in public and on national television.
In a recent interview on TV3’s morning show, ‘This Day’, Menaye professed the love between the two of them and dished on about life with a celebrated football star. She went on to disclose Sulley’s favourite meal and her wish to bear children with the AC Milan player, who is in the Black Stars camp ahead of their participation in the World Cup.
According to claims, the once amiable relationship that existed between the mother of Sulley Muntari and Menaye has all but gone frosty. Menaye was said to be visibly absent when a birthday party for her in-law was held recently.
In a rebuttal to the rumored split, Nadia Twum Ampofo, the manager and sister-in-law to Menaye has debunked the media reports of a possible break-up between the two.
Speaking to Razz Newspaper, Nadia claimed that the rumours are totally false and Menaye has been laughing over such frivolous news. “It is not true that Menaye resides in a separate home from that of Sulley’s. Anybody who has doubts about their union should go check on her official website. She had a fund-raising event in Milan just last month and pictures of the two on the website would tell if they are together or not,” she stated.
On why Menaye could not attend her mother-in-law’s birthday party, she explained that, Menaye had other very important engagements, which her in-law, Hajia Kande, was very much aware of. According to her, Menaye sent her a gift and called her on the day to wish her well.
When asked if Sulley Muntari is aware of all the media speculations concerning their split, Nadia stated that, indeed, Sulley has heard the news but he is concentrating on the World Cup and not allowing the false news affect him in anyway.
Menaye Donkor was born on 20th March 1981 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and in 2004, Donkor was crowned Miss Universe Ghana, she represented Ghana at the Miss Universe 2004 in Quito, Ecuador.
In 2006, Menaye Donkor met Sulley Ali Muntari, at the World Cup Finals in Germany. They began dating a year later, and then they formed a management company called MENMUN Ltd, which she is in charge of.
In 2010, the couple got married on Christmas Day in the capital of Ghana, Accra. They lived in Milan, Italy, where her husband plays for the city’s football team AC Milan. Menaye is also a business woman and her business interest are primarily in property, she owns her runs her own property development company called, Zafra Ltd, and their main focus is to rent and to develop properties in the capital of Ghana, Accra.
Menaye Donkor has also been heavily involved in philanthropic works in Ghana and other parts of the world. She also has the intention to try new business fields which are food and entertainment industry.

With your mother in law cases you Menaye don’t set an eye your relative told me personally so there was no way you would had contact her on Saturday during her birthday. Am sure if you leave in your marital home the guard will not had rejected you on Monday afternoon when you went and spy at sulley’s home with someone I don’t want to mention her name.
