Sarkodie has been nominated for the 2014 BET’s Best International Act ‘Africa’ award—just two years after he won the same award with Wizkid.

The talented Ghanaian rapper will be competing with Davido (Nigeria), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Mafikizolo (South Africa), Tiwa Savage (Nigeria) and Toofan (Togo) for this year’s award—and we hope he brings to Ghana once again.

The 2014 BET Award show will air live from Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday, June 29 at 8pm EST—and the show will be hosted by Chris Rock.

“This year’s nominees represent the best of the culture,” says Stephen Hill, BET’s President of Music Programming and Specials via a press release.
