The General Secretary of the NDC, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, is a rich man today. He has won a defamation suit against the Daily Guide newspaper to the tune of GH¢250,000. TWO POINT FIVE BILLION old CEDIS!
Daily Guide has also been slapped a cost of GH¢15,000 and has been asked to publish a retraction four times. When asked how he feels about the whole case, Mr Asiedu Nketia told Joy News “I feel vindicated.”
Meanwhile, there is a bus stop in Kumasi near the building which the NDC General Secretary was alleged to have built using diverted materials from the Bui Hydro project. That bus stop is called General Mosquito Bus Stop. Now that he is vindicated, will the name change?

I REALLY LIKE THE LEGAL APPROACH THIS MAN USED. AT LEAST, IT HAS CAUTIONED A LOT OF BAD JOURNALISTS WHO PUBLISH ARTICLES WITHOUT INVESTIGATING.
