I do not want to preach to Bull Dog (real name Lawrence Nana Asiama Hanson) about the many elements of lack of professionalism that his recent statement that; “It is not a smooth journey and I’ve always been open with the artistes. I face my problems but I don’t have any artiste looking down on me, when you do that and I will walk away after punching you,” carries…
Apart from battery (intentionally punching anyone) being a criminal offense, his attempt to down play what he said by saying it was a joke does not cut for some of us.
According to NewsOne, Bull Dog has defended his statement of punching any artiste he manages if the person disrespects him by saying; “I can’t beat any of my artistes. I am not a violent person and persons who know me would have realized I was even joking. I understand the laws of Ghana and it would never get to that. This was just one of my naughty jokes meant to create fun,”
His justification and rather not an apology for his statement rests on the fact that he said; ‘I am not a violent person and persons who know me would have realized I was even joking‘.
The question is, how many people know you persoanlly to be able to establish that your above public utterance was a joke based on what they know of you in private?
This is a clear example of misguided talk and instead of apologizing for the absurdity embedded in the message, here is BullDog defending what he said…
If it was anywhere in the West, he would have been left with himself to manage. To think that BullDog manages VIP, IWAN, Shatta Wale, Koo Ntakra, Natural Face and others makes me SICK.
How can he manage their public utterances if he is speaking this way without remorse?
