From alleged thievery to struggling to make earns meet as musicians, a close source to the Hiplife group-Praye disclosed in a loud voice during a recent meeting in London how desperate, broke and frustrated the musical group has become.
Present at the meeting were Peace Fm’s Akwasi Aboagye, myself and few others who could not come to terms with what we heard.
It came to light during discussions that; had it not been the GoTV deal they recently secured, the two members of the musical group-Eugene Baah (Praye Honeho) and Steven Fiawoo (Praye Tietia) would have found themselves begging for money to obtain some basic life ingredients.
Things got so hard to the extent that payments for a car they took on hire purchase from Unique Trust could not be afforded—the source said.
The most shocking element of the whole revelation was a possible breakup of the group—we were told the group members have held several meetings intending to break off their union
According to the close source, things got worse recently in the Praye camp when the girlfriend of Praye Tietia (Steven Fiawoo)-Selly went to Big Brother Africa to shamefully have sex on live TV.
Before Selly returned from the Big Brother Africa reality TV Show, Praye Honeho (real name Eugene Baah) warned his counterpart Praye-Tietia not to take Selly back as her shameful act has tainted the name of the group-Praye…
Praye Honeho gave Praye Tietia the option to stay with him as a group member by jilting Selly or stay with her and forfeit the group as he is tired of the way things have been with the group’s image.
In an attempt to establish what is really going on with the Praye group, Akwasi Aboagye arranged to interview the group’s leader-Eugene Baah (Praye Honeno) on his widely listened to Entertainment Review show.
Shockingly, disrespectfully and showing all signs of frustration, Praye Honeho insulted Akwasi Aboagye on air without any sort of regard for the millions of listeners-fans.

As if the above was not enough to damage their weak and struggling brand, Praye Honeho granted a subsequent interview to Hitz FM—-insulting Akwasi Aboagye, members of his Entertainment Review panel and Peace Fm as a whole.
After just the public outburst and gross disrespect to fans/listeners, the management of the Praye group has in a closed door manner issued an apology to Akwasi Aboagye, his listeners and panel members.
Is the group really sorry for their actions? I doubt it; they’ve just realized how much of damage Praye Honeho’s insults and outburst will cause to their already weak and struggling brand. And as such, they are seeking to make amends.
Whatever it is, they should rather wish it did not happen since no amount of damage control can clean this MESS…
