For winning the Artiste of the Year, the topmost award at the 14th edition of the Ghana Music Awards, R2Bees were presented with a brand new MG Rover car.
The short and colourful presentation took place at the Spintex road showroom of Fairlop International Limited, distributors of MG Motors in Ghana. After, the duo of Mugeez and Paedae visited Midland Savings and Loans, the company which partner Fairlop to sponsor the car.
The presentation of a car to the Ghana Music Awards ‘Artist of The Year’ is a new initiative of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) to compliment the efforts of the organizers.
Present at the presentation were the President of the union, Bice Osei Kufuor (Obour) and his able MUSIGA Executives.
The Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts Mrs Dzifa Gomashie was also present with her entourage.
