Ghanaian footballer Michael Essien’ organized a Game of Hope and Inspiration to raise funds for charity.
The event/game was put together by the Michael Essien Foundation at the Accra Sports Stadium featuring an Africa XI team who beat their World XI counterparts by 4 goals to 2.
Among some of the players who featured for the World XI were former German captain, and Chelsea midfielder, Michael Ballack, Ricardo Carvalho and Djibril Cisse.
Former Black Stars goal Richard Kingston, Michael Essien, Jay Jay Okocha, Emmanuel Adebayor, Andre Ayew, Kwame Ayew, Jordan Ayew, and others featured for the Africa XI.
