Ahead of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2013 on Saturday May 18 at the Conference Centre, singer Efya has picked the ‘Record of the Year’ award with her song ‘Best In Me’ at the Industry Awards.
She picked the award in a ceremony at the Alisa Hotel in Accra. The Industry Awards is held before the main event. The idea is to prevent the dragging of the awards on the main day.
Other winners include; Akoo Nana who picked the World Bank Music for Development, Kaywa won for himself the Sound Engineer of the Year, pride of the North-Sherifa was adjudged as the Traditional Artiste of the Year whiles Gyedu Blay Ambulley went home with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
