THE BIG QUESTION: Is He Just Being Jealous Or …? T. B. Joshua Is No Better a Pastor Than Any Other In Ghana Says Rev. Owusu-Bempah

T.B Joshua

I cannot figure out what is going on here…From one angle,  I can clearly see the point in what Rev. Owusu-Bempah is saying…He is just re-echoing the saying ‘no prophet is accepted in his home town’.

On the other hand, it seems he is being jealous because of the grand reception Ghanaian Christians and miracle seekers gave to T.B Joshua this week

PeaceFm Reports;

General Overseer of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, has unequivocally stated that he cannot understand why Ghanaians do not appreciate the men of God in this country, as the senior Prophet of the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN), Prophet T. B. Joshua, “is not better than any other pastor in Ghana”.

According to him, there are very anointed men of God in the country such as; Eastwood Anaba, Rev. Ampiah Kwofie, Prophet Annor among others who need to be appreciated and celebrated because they are one of our own.

“…The Bible made it clear that Jesus came and lived among men but was rejected by his own. Because of that, no prophet is appreciated in his motherland, but as for that T.B. Joshua, I want to make it clear for all Ghanaians to understand that he is no better a pastor than any other in this country.

“…This same T. B. Joshua, most people would not want to hear his name in Nigeria, but I’m not in a position to condemn him and can only plead with Ghanaians to be grateful with what we have,” a livid Rev. Owusu-Bempah insisted.

His comments comes on the back of news that thousands of people, acting on a hint that the Senior Prophet of SCOAN would minister in Accra on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, swamped the Spintex road branch of the church, seeking divine intervention in their lives.
Though he claims he does not envy the Nigerian Prophet nor his church, Rev. Owusu-Bempah maintained in an interview on Adom FM that, this is an indication that Ghanaians underestimate their men of God.

What do you think? It seems we like everything more when it is from a foreign land…

  3. Rev Bempah has on retirated d fact that Church is big business, there obvious a hint of jealousy in his statement and some truth. But d manner in which he delievered his concern is appauling, T.B joshua is also ‘a man of God’ as they put it, and Ghanian v d right 2 worship wherever they choose.
My point is Rev Bempah should preach faith and win soul and let God judge at d end not play God.
I am Nigerian and am not a fan of T.B Joshua either but I cannot judge him cos truth b told its not till u work in a mans shoes dat u feel d pain.
God forbid I v a challenge n he can assist wif Miracles, I will go to him. PERIOD! Its about God and my faith not T.B joshua.
So Rev Bempah … Please keep preaching and winning soul and leave T.B Joshua 2 do his thing wateva means he is using only God can judge him. Bless u all.

  4. Is about time men of God stop ruining insult and accusation over their fellow pastors, Seriously if they continue to do this how do they expect we the sheep to behave? This will let us blaspheme as well. Please men of God, do not judge each other, if you truly call then concentrate on the work of God and let others do the same. At the end of the day only God can judge one another. Peace

  5. Our spiritual leaders must not allow the devil to accuse them. this is embarrasing what seed they are planting to us as younger Pastors. I dont defeand anyone, did Jesus talk bad about John. even with Judas did not spoke bad. i appeal to my leader. They must read Amos 4:12
    (NIV)

12 “Therefore this is what I will do to you, Israel,
and because I will do this to you, Israel,
    prepare to meet your God.”
question to yourselves are prepared to meet your God. Many great man of God fell because of Pride. Noone is perfect as far as I understand the bible all Men are from God and their are his image. I dont think its correct if someone is short of sermon can just label his colleagues in the work of God. judge not Prophet TB Joshua continue with what you were called for, Archbishop Duncan you know who called you, what ever people says focus on your assignment and Rev Owusu bempeh do what you were called for. fear and criticising one another in the media it shows, that you are now walking by flesh. I ask you to sort out your differences your enemy (devil ) is laughing at you. stop this in Jesus name. I am praying for all of you. we are all Africans dispite our nationalities and the common thing in you is that you have a same blood (red not yellow blood) please behaviour saints of God. Do one Crusade for for African to be Saved in your respective countries. God bless you. Pastor Xolani Sithole, South Africa
