Miracles and miracles—that is all some Ghanaians know. According to reports, TB Joshua of SCOAN ‘hijacked’ the whole of Spintex road for church service or prayer yesterday…….and people were flocking there to receive their deliverance from problems.
Journalists were detained for whatever reason and some ‘business minded’ people (I won’t call them unscrupulous) were selling ordinary nim branches for a ‘whooping’ Ghc 1! This alone told me quite a lot. As a country we know how and what to…..but don’t do it
What surprised me a lot was the time people got to the worship centre. Ghanaians have very poor time management skills; just go to the ministries at 9am, you’ll be very lucky to find a worker there. Even at lunch time, workers will be busily roaming the Rawlings Park doing their own thing.
But guess what? People had already gathered at 2am – a programme scheduled to start at 7am! I said to myself, so they know what time is all about. If each and every public servant was eager to be time conscious and work like how people run to see a man of God, we’ll have moved from the status of developing long time ago!
God does not perform miracle in the life of a lazy man/woman who expects Manna to fall from heaven. Everything we need in life has been provided for; it is our responsibility to multiply what we have with our hands, brains and talents. Days of Manna are long passed! If your father provides everything you need for school and you expect your father to learn for you, are you not a failure? Work when it’s time to work and worship when it’s time to worship.
I’m not against the idea of the man of God holding his crusade or service, but the thousands of people who flocked there, don’t they have work to do? Even if they don’t have work to do, what about motorists stuck in traffic that have important issues to attend to? It’ll make more sense if such programmes are done in the evening- people can freely use public roads and worship ‘in their own time’.
I agree with this article… Kwame Sefa Kai was saying the same thing… he said he was stuck in traffic on the Spintex road from 5:30am till 7:30am when he always uses 30minutes from the Spintex road to his office….Its really something…some “Christians” are just impossible
When you read Ghanaian online commentaries on TB Joshua, you’d think they’ll stone him if he ever sets foot in Ghana. Obviously a lot of Ghanaians have mad love for TB Joshua…and anything Nigerian.
I actually work on the Spintex road near papaye. I was informed that it was his ‘wise men’ that came not T.B Joshua himself. Today its back to normal with the usual spintex traffic.
The only man of God who prophecies AFTER THE THING HAS HAPPENED two days or three days before .
To the writer, wakaa waka! All that you said is 100% true. I cant believe people were there waiting like at 2am when the program starts at 7am. Only in Ghana.
Obviously u don’t know abt Black Friday lol. Any ways der is nothing wrong with miracles
