PHOTOS: Miss Malaika 2012 Sharon Coffie Donates To Special Attention Projects

Published by

As part of her reign and project, Miss Malaika 2012, Sharon Coffie has donated to the Special Attention Projects, a Non Governmental Organization which caters for children with special learning difficulties.

Special Attention Projects started in 2008 assisting children on the streets who have learning difficulties which cannot be handled in a normal classroom and for this matter end up not being in school.

The Special Attention Projects have trained teachers who assist the children to overcome their learning difficulties and also discover their talents be it drumming and dancing, bead making, carpentry or drama. So for these kids is not only just conquering their fears when it comes to learning but also developing a talent which could one day be a means of livelihood for them.

One major challenge facing the Special Attention Projects is support from corporate bodies and individuals; touched by their plight Miss Sharon Coffie donated used clothes, food items such as rice, cooking oil, onions and confectioneries. The donation was made possible kind courtesy UT Bank and Shoprite.
