Published by

The John Dumelo Foundation [JDF] owned and run by Ghanaian actor John Dumelo is currently doing a lot in Ghana. The Foundation is involved in a scholarship scheme to pay the fees of university students.

The Foundation late last year gave two University of Ghana students a scholarship; a Medical and Theatre Arts students through the Students Financial Aid Office. The amount presented by the Foundation was to enable these two brilliant students who lack the financial power to complete their studies.

20% of funds from his J.Melo clothing line go directly to the Foundation’s coffers which enables the actor to continue his chairty work.

In February, the JDF will be partnering Jamaican delegations who are involved in charities. This partnership “is strategic” the actor said in an exclusive interview with GhanaCelebrities.Com. According to John, the partnership will enable the Jamaicans to come down to Ghana to do some charity works.

“In February, we are having a delegation from Jamaica where we are instituting the Ghana-Jamaica [Charity] collaboration to enable some Jamaicans to come to Ghana to do some charity work with my [John Dumelo] foundation”, John said.

He will also reciprocate by also doing some charity work with his Foundation in Jamaica.

The actor who is currently in Abuja told GhanaCelebrities.Com, that the partnership “is an expansion drive and just good for humanity”
