For some months now, various media outlets have been reporting that popular Hip Life artiste-Castro De Destroyer real name Theophilus Tagoe has been paralyzed.
Many of these reports attribute his sudden illness to an earlier news item which stated that, Castro went to see a certain ‘Juju woman’ to help his career…
The hiplife musician was reported to have personally made an undertaking to reward the spiritualist with a cash amount of GH¢500 in addition to other assorted items if the juju worked in his favour.
Things however got out of hand and the otherwise secret ritual became public when Castro, after the juju, did not pay the GH¢500 to the spiritualist as promised, also refusing to pick her calls.
Few weeks after Castro and the Juju woman’s saga came out, Castro was reported to have been paralyzed…
Even though Castro’s management denied the paralysis, they mentioned that Castro was suffering from a minor leg injury which he was treating…
In an interview with the Weekend Finder, DJ Amess (Castro’s manager) has once again refuted the rumours, adding that “Let me tell you, Castro has been driving around town since last week, but people have not noticed it because of the new car he is using. I won’t deny the fact that Castro got his leg twisted but that was caused through an injury he sustained during a friendly football match but even so that injury didn’t get him paralyzed.
We decided to adopt the traditional means by using herbal medicine to heal the wound and people are even attributing this to fetish practices. Are we saying that none of us have ever gotten ill to seek medical attention? I can tell you on authority that Castro is recovering from the injury,”.
Hmmmm…Will we ever know the truth?
