News flocking in is to GhanaCelebrities.Com that, Ghana’s former Vice President Alhaji Aliu Mahama is dead.
He was confirmed dead on Metro TV few minutes ago. He died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra after short illness.
H.E. Alhaji Aliu Mahama was born 3 March 1946. He become Ghana’s Vice-President of Ghana from 7 January 2001 to 7 January 2009.
He sought the New Patriotic Party’s nomination for the 2008 presidential election, but at the party’s convention in December 2007 he received only 6.38% of delegates’ votes (146 votes).
He was reported to have died on 14 November 2012 at the Korle Bu Hospital but the story was denied the same day by his family and hospital authorities.
