This is what is left of the recently built Melcom Achimota Branch.
News reaching us confirm that the Achimota branch of Melcom, Opposite Neoplan and Zenith Bank has just collapsed. Four stories with many people down flat to the ground.
This occurred about 30 minutes ago while normal shopping was going on. It is believed that several people are trapped in the building. The extent of fatality has however not been confirmed.
There is presently a lot of traffic to and from the road leading to the building.
It is reported that the whole building suddenly collapsed without suspicion from anybody. Some previous shoppers claim the building always looked poorly and hurriedly built.
We sincerely hope emergency services can rescue the shoppers and workers trapped within.

Oh good Lord please protect my brother and sisters trapped under the collapsed building.
I will use this to advice Ghanaians to stop buying China product it just fake ,whether China,building materials ,food,cosmetics or better still China women they are all fake .

Terrible terrible tragedy, and i was there a few months ago when i went to ghana, it gives me goose bumps, wow, the owner of this building has to be sued, but this is ghana after all people get away with murder all the time, its too sad, my heart goes out to all the families affected by this horrible tragedy.
