Just For A Laugh: Yaw Sakyi Afari Says ‘NO’ To $80 Hair Cut In America

Published by
Mr. & Mrs. Yaw Sakyi Afari

Host of Run Down, an entertainment show on TV Africa, Yaw Sakyi Afari yesterday posted something funny on his Facebook wall.

Yaw who got married recently is currently in America for holidays and to also record video interviews for his show back home as well as get other gossip and exclusives.

Having been in the States for weeks and feeling the heat of going to the barbering shop for $80 haircut is obviously eating up his pocket.

Yaw posted that “MUST be in Ghana before my next barber. Can’t do $80 for two haircuts, twiaaa. Home sweet home.”

Imagine paying $80 anytime you cut your hair in America. $80 converted in Ghana Cedis is 151and his next two haircuts $160 is perhaps somebody’s salary in Ghana. So you can understand Yaw’s frustrations.

In Ghana, with 5 Ghana Cedis ($2.64) you can get a good hair cut plus a nice shave same as in America for $80 (151 Ghana Cedis). So why won’t Yaw complain? Laughs…

Anyway, how much does it cost to do your hair wherever you are reading this from?
