Nana Akua Addo Grabs Attention At Glitz Africa Fashion Week With A Dress Made Out Of Cement Bag

Ghanaian actress Nana Akua Addo made a fashion statement on the last and final day of the hugely successful Glitz Africa Fashion Week with a dress made from bags of cement.
In all indication, her ‘strange’ outfit left an indelible mark on the minds of the patrons and onlookers at the event.
The three-day show at the Accra International Conference Centre commenced on Friday August 17 and climaxed on Saturday August 19. It offered opportunity for fashion houses, brands, models and designers the platform to exhibit their works to the world in a grand style.
Model and former beauty queen, Nana Akua graced the final day of the event and wowed patrons who occasionally obliged to steal a glance at her alluring costume.
Even though she didn’t cat-walk on the night, her outfit was enough to win her some attention and photo opportunities with fans.
From the moment she stepped on the red carpet to her final sitting place in the VIP, eyes rolled and turned to her direction as tongues murmured in finding out what the ‘hell’ she was wearing.
She probably would not have escaped Fashion Police if there was anyone but her outfit made her a fashionista of the night…
People lauded her boldness in wearing such an outfit and the designer’s creativity. From afar, the dress looks exotic and expensive but on getting closer, it was just made from an ordinary cement bag.
I’m not too sure if she’s aware of the publicity she is giving GHACEM but whats your take. Are you feeling her?

  1. This technique has always existed.Seamstresses in Gh. used cement paper to teach their apprentices how to sew because they didnt want to waste fabric.I like the statement she is making:atleast she is telling us u dnt need to spend billions to look good. For all u know she might be advertising for GHACEM too..

  4. Can someone please advice this girl that if she is using that bleaching cream on her face, she should also use it on her hands and legs as well. She has one ugly legs. Full of scars and skiny too! If my legs were like that, l would be ashamed to show that in public. Then again what can we expect from local champion like her!
