Our personalities are most often shown through the way we dress, a lot can be said about a person from that individual’s physical appearance, body language and sense of style-fashion.
It is not a bad thing trying to look good to catch some needed attention but remember your fashion defines you. Therefore, choosing the appropriate apparel to suit your personality at any occasion must be your prime concern.
Today, most of us tend to dress based on the way clothes appeal to our personal taste. If we like it, we go for it.
Fashion exists to provide information about ourselves, who we think we are and who we aspire to be. It defines our age, our sex, our occupation and to some extent our ethnicity.
A man walks down the street in a business suit and we gather information about him. A young girl wears a skimpy top and a short skirt and we form a weird impression of her. Surely, being well dressed gives you some level of confidence when you are moving around.
In the corporate world, a lot more people are denied employment not because they are not good but their appearance tells a different story about them, most world class oriented companies will not employ a shabby dressed lady for a position they deem important to the image of their business. It is largely accepted that a well dressed individual is responsible and well to do, so firm will go in for the best dressed personnel in their recruitment enterprises.
Fashion influences choices, men are very particular with the women they choose as their wives though some will always settle for the indecent dressed ladies because they are hot and sexy, they will walk down the aisle with a lady who carries herself well when it comes to appearance.
The next time you walk into a shop to buy, remember your fashion defines you; it gives who you are aware even when you do not want others to know you.
What impression do you want people to have when they see you walk towards them? Remember to embed your personality and decent beliefs in your fashion by going for the REAL you.
