Few days ago Adom FM broke the news that controversial singer Nana Akua Amoah known in showbiz circles as Mzbel has openly declared that she has a crush on the Founder and Leader of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Dr. Mensah Otabil.
The artiste has come out to deny the story says its not only embarrassing, but ridiculous and mischievous.

ADOM FM’s DAY OF SHAME; IN THE NAME OF JOURNALISM [An open letter to adomonline]
It has come to our attention news making the rounds on websites, social media, radio and other media platforms pertaining to an interview granted Adom 160.3 FM by Nana Ekua Amoah known in showbiz circles as Mzbel.
Mzbel is purported/reported to have admitted having a crush on Dr. Mensah Otabil. The said piece of news has come across not only as embarrassing, but ridiculous and mischievous.
It is obvious that the writer in complete disregard of Mzbel’s integrity seeks to achieve some ill-motive. To know that one is willing to sacrifice the integrity and reputation of another so as to get themselves some attention is disheartening.
If the writer had remained true to the content of the interview referred to, it will be strange to see him report in such manner. Adom FM happens to be one of the radio stations with a wide listener base.
We believe strongly that, the writer was not the only one privy to the live interview. Listeners will adjudge that at no point in the interview did Mzbel admit to having a crush on the reverend minister.
In as much as we want to trust the court of public opinion, we would very much appreciate it if the writer of the article would do the honourable thing and put an end to his obviously expensive joke?
Would the writer be kind enough to provide the unedited recorded tape as evidence in support of his false accusations?
On the part of Adom FM and adomonline.com, in demonstration of commitment to broadcasting the truth and not falsehood, it will be prudent to pay substantial attention to disassociating itself from such heinous reportage.
Mzbel’s reference to the respected man of God, of whose church she is a member in the said interview, was in no way meant derogatory. Her admiration for the man of God is based on the pastor’s exemplary leadership, inspirational messages and understanding of God’s word.
Nana Ekua Amoah aka Mzbel will very much like to take this opportunity to render an unqualified apology to the Reverend Minister, to my fans and to any one at all who such publication must have come across to as distasteful.
“My advice to all who seek excellence in all they do, either journalism, music, driving, anything at all we must acknowledge that, in all we do we must be guided by God to the straight path – the path of those upon whom God has bestowed favour, not of those who are astray”.
ISSUED BY MANAGEMENT OF MZBEL
