EVER since her introduction into the Ghana Music Industry, Salamatu Yabuku a.k.a. Sala has been silent for whatever reasons best known to her.
Perhaps, that’s her own way of learning the nitty-gritty of the industry before finally hitting the big stage. But several years down the lane, the Afro-Pop singer appears to have found her bearings, well composed, matured and ready to make an impact.
Sala is signed on Paradise Entertainment under the tutelage of Duke Banson, the same label that formerly housed the likes of VIP, 4X4, Mzbel and Mimi.

Last Saturday, Sala appeared rather confidently on the stage to battle her fellow female musicians on TV3’s Music Music Show.
The night was dedicated to only females [both artists and mcs] hence the show was dubbed ‘Divas Show’. Other performers on the night included Mzbel, Diamond, Bino and the likes.

Initially, the audience appear lost when she was called upon to perform but upon hearing her songs blazing loudly from the speakers, they played along, sang and danced accordingly till she left the stage.
The audience appreciated her performances coupled with her intermittent dance movements. They wished she had performed more songs than she did. This goes to confirm that, Sala is gradually crawling her way into the hearts of music lovers in Ghana.
