ETV, a new but fast growing television station in Ghana has come up with Ghana’s 100 influential personalities of 2011 through a poll they conducted via text from their viewers…
The General Manager of ETV Ghana, JOT Agyeman explained that “we were motivated by hearing directly from our viewers their own thought about who they think influence society in positive ways and the result we had coming in were amazing”…
Since these personalities were chosen solely by ETV viewers, I think it does not mean anything much than what a bunch of ETV viewers think…I mean ETV does not even have the majority of the TV watching population in Ghana…
Nevertheless, it gives us a good idea as to who and who is important in the eyes of Ghanaians… Let’s say ETV viewers served as an electoral college for us all.
What do you think about the list? Do you agree? who do you think is not supposed to be in there or is supposed to be in there?

Where are the doctors, lawyers, businessmen? I know a whole lot of people who should be on this list but anyway i agree to a certain degree, i mean why is JAK at 11 n Atta-Mills at 9, JAK should be in the top 10, anyway congrats to jackie she deserved to be on this list, after-all shes the popular n most well paid among all the actors/actresses in ghana. Shes the only one with billboards all the way from accra to Ksi, well done girlie.
Congrats Jackie you deserve to be there, you have done so much for the come of the Ghana movie industry for the pass 8 or 9 year and we that know appreciate it.
Jackie deserves it meeeeeeeeeeeeen! She is the most humble and professional actress i have ever seen. I think she should have kinda earned a better position. Congrats to all who made the list.
