Certainly, he is not the first Ghanaian to have been on BBC 1 Xtra since the notorious Wanlov da Kubolor and his main man Mensa have been there before. I remember listening to them but that was not with the popular Tim Westwood. I stand to be corrected on this, so far SARKODIE is the first to have crash things with Tim Westwood on BBC1 Xtra!
Over the years, Tim has partied and crashed things with top celebrities on his BBC show. Who has not been on the show before? Almost all the top hiphop stars in the world have passed through, it is therefore a big deal for SARKODIE to have been on there…
Just check the videos below to see how Sarkodie made Ghana proud on the show. The dude is unstoppable, he has humour and can make a rap out of everything thrown at him…This reminds me of when we published an article he did not like, the dude went straight to the studio to record a song rebutting our claims (Yeap, our article got us a song, this is how influential we are as a blog)…Listen to the song below and click here to read about what happened if you are interested.
