ZAFA Awards 2011 Winners! Frank Arase Raja, Samira Yakubu, Pascal Amanfo, TV Africa Grab Awards!

Finally the organizers of the Zulu African Film Academy Awards (ZAFAA) have released the winners of this year’s awards. Ghana grabbed 5 awards. Director Frank Arase Raja picked the best director nod for the direction of ‘Somewhere In Africa’ movie.

The same movie won the best sound editing and best story. Chucks and Pascal Amanfo picked those awards respectively. Costumier and Jackie Appiah’s manageress Samira Yabuku picked the Best Costumier whiles TV Africa shared the honours with NTA TV station from Nigeria in the Best West African TV Stations category.

Best Cultural Expression: Bose Alao Omotoyossi (Olasubomi) Nigeria

Best Producer Indigenous: Uduak Oguamanam (Edikan) Nigeria
Best Lead Actor: Kenneth Okonkwor (Save Our Souls) Nigeria

Best Comedy Film: Okon Lagos, Nigeria

Best Costumier: Samira Yakubu (Queens Pride) Ghana
