I have 4 tickets (courtesy of the organizers) to freely give away to GhanaCelebrities.Com readers who wish to be part of the historic friendly football match between Ghana and Nigeria on 9th August, 2011. I knowGhana will be scoring Nigerians like we have never done before…
This football match is more than a friendly, it is Ghana playing against a number rival-Nigeria which therefore means, both sides will fiercely knock their boots as they struggle for supremacy.
When it comes to Ghana and Nigeria, the rivalry and debate cannot be undermined. Both countries in their attempt to achieve some sort of supremacy have resulted to frivolous claims such as Nigerians saying…they invented Jollof rice…I could not stop laughing when I heard of this groundless claim. My grandmother has been cooking Jollof Rice since time immemorial.
Nigerians claim they are better than Ghanaians when it comes to movies and others. I bet they have been pulling claims that they are better than Ghanaians when it comes to soccer too right? What are some of the claims you have heard Nigerians put up?
Do we have to argue about who is better than who when it comes to soccer? Certainly No, 9th August, 2011 will determine who rules West Africa and probablyAfrica when it comes to football.
GC has 4 tickets to give away…We are giving you a chance as a valued reader to be at Watford Stadium on 9th August to support your country and watch players like Asamoah Gyan score heart warming goals and doing to the popular Gyan ‘Boogie’ in celebration.
