Weekly Discussion, Let’s Get Talking: Would You Ever Trust & Leave Your Girlfriend Or Boyfriend In The Care Of Your Best Friend?

If you guys have been attentive, you would have spotted that I’ve been a bit silent on here. I have been a little sick and away from the blogging world a bit.

I was pushed down by a fever which intensified as the days went by. On my sick bed, I was faced with a temptation and came across what I have never given it a deep thinking.

My BFF was out on holidays when the fever knocked me down. Far inItalyand knowing how far I live from the main city and also the fact that I do not have any family or good friends around here, she instructed her boyfriend to come and pay me a visit.

He was here to assist me with food shopping and do basic rounds for me if the need arises. He was supposed to return that night but could not since he missed his last train.

I was informed by my friend that if I do not mind, instead of her boyfriend checking into a hotel, he says he can manage with my living room.

I am single and was sick so I cared less. I quickly said I do not mind and we grabbed some DVD’s and settled on the sofa. We watched 2 movies and talked a lot into the night.

It was great, nice and warming for me. The friendly company we shared brought back some sort of light for me. At no point did we ever do anything that my friend would not approve of but at one point in the night, a nasty thought came into my mind.

I am a loyal friend and would not betray my friend but then I began to think about this, if it were me, would I have been able to send my boyfriend alone to my friend’s yard and possibly spend the night with her out there?

In this world we live in, you cannot fully trust anyone when it comes to fire and petrol (men and women).

Let’s get talking about this; could you ever do what my friend did? Send your husband, boyfriend, wife or girlfriend to your best friend’s place with the possibility that they will spend the night together due to the fact that you cannot make it?
