If you have not heard about the on-going buzz that the world is ending on coming Saturday, 21st May, 2011 then you must be living in some far away Afghan cave. This is getting more serious as Saturday approaches. About some few weeks ago, I heard on radio that 4,ooo or over even more books have been written about the world ending on this day…
The recent campaign out of the lot let us know that the world is ending on Saturday has been embarked on by a retired MTA worker ‘Robert Fitzpatrick’ in New York who is so confident the world is indeed ending next Saturday and has spent $140,000 ( his entire savings) on MTA advertising to assist other folks in New York prepare for the rapture.
This is what he said “I’m trying to warn people about what’s coming,” said 60-year-old Staten Island resident Robert Fitzpatrick, who retired from the MTA in 2006. “People who have an understanding [of end of times] have an obligation to warn everyone.”
You maybe asking this; how did he get to know the date of the end of the world… Actually, he is a loyalist of California Evangelist Harold Camping, who used an advanced mathematical formula to predict the exact date of the Judgment Day when our Lord Jesus Christ will return to Earth.
