Becca has today released a music video for her song “African Woman“. The video which is said to have been shot in Akosombo and has a village setting features Ghanaian movie star Martha Ankomah….
It is another classic one from Becca! One thing you cannot take away from Becca is the fact that she never fails with her videos and I am loving her “puffy” hairstyle…
Check out the video below….

I wish she used the winner of ghana’s most beautiful in the video, cos it was composed purposefuly for the ghana’s most beautiful program
omg I love what she sings from 1:59 to 2:21. I remember when I was young my friends and I will play a game and sing that song along with it. We didn’t even know what language it was or what it meant but just loved singing it. I love the whole song too by the way. good job Becca.
nice song and video. Just beautiful
Great song!
i love everything about this video…loving becca’s stlye, pure african woman
beautiful…. just beautiful!
i really love her and her style. i love the video but am not feeling the sound or the lyric’s, with that said i love most of her songs though.
really this song does not make any sense to me..but the video is nice! she has really lost track on wat she suppose to do
You dont get it? basically this song celebrates the African woman and her achievements, beauty etc…thats why you hear Amina of Zasu, Miriam Makeba, rice water, tu tu gboovi(HISTORY PEOPLE)!…sorry about spelling…. but its all the songs that are sang to an African child and woman to be precise. And as for the story line, i’m sure you got it cos obiously, a little village girl rose to the highest heights and was finally visited by her old father who was very proud to see her in that position at the end of the day. It celebrates an African woman i believe.
lol ive always say this Becca, Sala, Iwan with their style of songs can go to places
creativity @ it best. Becca u be 2u much.luv u
I really love this song.Becca what is the secret behind ur success.
Of a truth i neva knew d owner this song until 2day. I visited Ghana during GMB in 2010 and this is the song dat attracted me to the programme, and i watched it to the end. This has been my best song since 2010 though i didn’t go back with a copy bcos it wasn’t in the market as at that time. I once watched it on STV here in Nigeria and i still want to av my own copy plssss someone should help me. I’ll neva 4get the face of Bambi that first said “woman” in the video that Tv3 produced during 2010 GMB. Becca how i wish i knew u wen i came to Ghana so that i’ll give u a hand shake at least. Though the video is fantastic but u would av mixed it up with that of GMB.
