Seventeen African bodybuilding federations are feverishly preparing ahead of the 10th edition of Mr Africa Bodybuilding Championships scheduled to be held from February 23-27, 2011, in Accra.
Notable among the federations include Nigeria, Egypt, South Africa, Equatorial Guinea, Morocco, and Libya.
The National Theatre of Ghana will host the final of the event with Beach Expo taking place at the La Beach, in Accra.
The prestigious event, the 10th edition, is being organised by the Ghana Bodybuilding & Fitness Association (GBFA) under the auspices of the Africa Federation of Bodybuilding (AFBB), the National Sports Council (NSC), as well as the Ministry of Youth & Sports.
The Championship will attract a well-packed gathering of International Bodybuilding & Fitness stars 20 African countries including Nigeria, Egypt, Cameroon, Togo, Uganda, Sierra Leone, and Gambia, not forgetting the industry’s celebrities from the western world.
Officials of International Fitness & Physique Association (IFPA) including International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) president, Dr. Rafael Santonja, United Kingdom’s undisputed Biggest Biceps holder, British-Born Ghanaian Andrew Harrison, will grace the show.
Eazzy Baby is billed to rock the event alongside other yet-to-be confirmed artistes.
