As the adage goes “ Oninpa ye adea, ose ayiye”, as much as I like to throw words to Yvonne Nelson when she steps on the wrong grass, it would be fair and decent to eulogize her when she steps on the right grass.
Despite her “attitude” which I have problems, her philanthropically works and initiatives are worthy of emulating. I wish all the various Ghanaian celebrities learn from her.
Yvonne Nelson has been putting massive efforts together to help create social awareness about Glaucoma through her “Glaucoma Charity”.
Glaucoma is a disease which damages the optic nerve, leading to progressive and irreparable loss of vision. It is mostly, but not always, associated with increased pressure of the eye fluid.
The young Actress in her bid to bring attention and create a strong awareness about this irreversible eye disease, pulled her celebrity friends together for an amazing campaign video.
