In the year 1979 a Star was born into a family of 4. Chris Attoh was raised and educated both in Ghana and the United Kingdom; This gorgeous talented hunk continues to raise the bar in the world of Movies, Television and Entertainment as a whole.
Trained as a professional Abstract Painter at the University of Science and Technology – Ghana, he acquired a B.F.A in Fine Art.
His passion and creativity in the world of Television, Radio, and Film led him to work for the likes of Groove FM, Choice FM, Kapital Radio in kumasi, City FM and X FM as a Radio Presenter and as a link Presenter for Metro T.V whiles hosting the then Popular Tv show “Showtime.”
After University Chris went on to further his experience in Television in London, on Original Black Entertainment T.Veew
Now a Seasoned T.V and Radio Presenter, he has graced the Television screens with many memorable moments, from Ghana to London to South Africa and has left a dramatic impact in the world of Radio, Film and Television as a whole.
His passion for Acting and Directing has reflected on the Cinema screens with the likes of the highly acclaimed movies such as “Sinking Sands” where he played along side old O.B.E Tv collegue and friend Ama K. Abebrese alongside Hollywood actor Jimmy Jean Louis, from the popular Tv series “Heroes.”
Chris has also worked with Ace Writer/ Director, Shirley Frimpong – Manso on movies such as the “The Perfect Picture”, “Scorned” “Life & living it” and now the latest to the collection “Six hours to Christmas ” (2010)
He was also given the opportunity to co ordinate stunts and assistant direct on her award winning moving “A Sting In a Tale.”
Chris left the acting scene for a while to concentrate on his number one passion, Directing. He enrolled in the New York Film Academy to further add value to himself, taking an all round Film Makers Course in December 2009. He returned to Ghana in late April 2010 and landed his first job as Second unit Director and Assistant Editor, working once again with close friend Shirley Frimpong- Manso on her movie “Check Mate” starring Nadia Buari.
He promises movie lovers that they will see more of his work as a Director in the near future.
In May 2010, Chris returned to his lead role as Kwame Mensah in MNet’s captivating Soap “Tinsel” which is currently shot in Lagos, Nigeria.
Aside anchoring for the popular yearly reality Tv show Stars O The Future chris also resumed his wacky presenting position on Charterhouses popular Music Magazine Tv Show “Rythmz.”
Chris attoh is currently managing the affairs of his own company as C.E.O for the already successful “A Factory limited” a Media and Television concept development company in Dzorwulu.
All together Chris effectively utilises his extensive and versatile background in Film, Television Radio, Acting, and the media in general, to keep challenging himself in new ways as a brand. He believes firmly in putting himself in the role, giving his all and getting the job done.
