Ace Director/Script writer Leila Djansi is scheduled to premiere her psycho-drama movie “Sinking Sands” on the 13th of November,2010 at the National Theatre, Accra.
Leila’s hand work has always been a true representation of a perfect movie director, telling the African story divorced from dilution.
As we calmly await the humble arrival of the “Sinking Sands” unto our screens, Shirley Frimpong Manso has also dropped her first comedy production “6 Hours To Christmas”.
Shirley has been able to distinguish her work from that of the other Ghanaian movie directors/producers with a filament of class, creativity and fresh faces. She serves her movie tales like Hennessey without coke, bringing the vibe in its original form.
Ms Frimpong Manso is set to premiere her new movie on 29th October,2010 at the Natioanl Theatre. It surely looks like this is a clash of the titans.
Where do you stand? If you are ask to place your bet on these two movies, where will your coins fall? Leila’s takeover or Shirley’s incessant success?
I know these two movies are telling different stories and I do not need you to remind me of that, I am asking which one do you think will pull the crowd, win the viewers heart and go forward to sweep home some movie awards.
Check out the trailers of both movies below and throw out your predictions. Where do you stand? No standing on the fence else you will fall down for readers like MEE, MiMi and Adjoa Nbaaso) to haphazardly walk over you…
