It is very easy in our world of today to get confused in the midst of “Success” and “Fame”. Many of us do not recognise the huge gap between these two phenomenal achievements.
The very first step towards achieving anything in life is having an extensive understanding of that which you seek to attain, its boundaries and ingredients.
Our constant attitude and closed mindset of interchangeably intertwining Fame and Success leaves us in a wild confused forest where desperation dwells.
Many of us are vehemently pushing for Fame when we should be chasing Success. Most of our actions and omissions are geared towards achieving “Fame” and not “Success”, yet we think we are on the right path to achieving what will bring us to living the all respectable life we desire.
The core elements that make up “Success” are far different from those which tangle up to bring “Fame”. Though some successful individuals have automatically attain fame and the vice versa, this still does not defuse the wide distinction between the two popular human targets.
Success is melted out of great and hard work. Respect, decency and decorum are popular tenants of “Success”. Fame can be achieved without any of the fundamental tenants of Success.
As you start another week in your life, it would be prudent at this stage to have a close look at the mechanisms you are employing to achieve that which you seek.
If your acts and omissions lack decency, respect, altruism, hard work and above all honesty, then you might be walking on the sole path to the house of “Fame”, not “Success”.
Success is a virtue which will eternally shine in your life and eventually bring you its associates such as “Fame” without you even working for it.
Fame is glamorous and glitters at its early stage, without success by its side; it can never stand the test of time. It will eventually die off no matter how hard you strive to gloom it.
Strive for Success for it will bring you all the other desires of your life. You may still be contemplating about the distinction between “Success” and “Fame”, trying to find out what I am talking about and where you are working towards.
As Erma Bombeck said “Don’t confuse fame with success. Madonna is one; Helen Keller is the other”. I hope you pick the path of Helen Keller because that is “Success”, Good Morning Reader & Have a great week.
