Rana & Appietus Saga Update: Appietus Says He Invested 500 Million Old Ghana Cedis In Rana & Got Nothing Back….

Appietus

Most stories have 2 sides and the onus is always on the reader/listener to determine which side appeals to his conscience.

Rana, a trio musical group has been in the news explaining why they jilted Appietus, the popular Ghanaian sound engineer’s Creative Records label to find success else where.

According to Rana, Appietus is a good sound engineer whose ability to make hit beats cannot be undermined, but Appietus as a manager (managing them), is a big disaster. Their success as young musicians with talent was curtailed during their management by Appietus “In the Mix”.

Rana saw no successful future with Appietus’ Record label and jumped off to Storm House Entertainment, a new label which they envisage would fetch them their dream success.

Now, Appietus has chipped in his side of the story, re-echoing the fact that Rana was a bad investment to his hard earned money.

It has been reported by Ghanamusic.com that, Appietus spend whooping 500 million old Ghana Cedis (50,000 GHC) on two quality music videos, expensive print, TV and radio promotion for Rana and got nothing back from them. (Geez!, Appietus, are you sure you made this much money go away like that….)

Appietus further lamented that, the group under his management were performing at shows and pocketing the returns without his knowledge. Though Appietus had a 3 album contract with Rana, he has cancelled the contract since they are nothing but a bad investment.

The two side of the story is out now, who is to be believed? You judge…..
