Ghanaian actress cum TV show host, Emelia Brobbey has reacted to an allegation made by a TikToker insisting that she was deported after she was caught stealing a watch.
During an interview with Asantewaa, Emelia Brobbey pointed out how a TikToker tried to discredit her by insisting that she stole a watch in a shop abroad and was deported.
Emelia Brobbey told Asantewaa how shocked she became but made up her mind to ignore her haters.
About 7 years ago, it was in the news all over that Kumawood actress Emelia Brobbey had been caught in London for shoplifting a bracelet.
After all those years, Emelia has finally delved into the matter. According to her, the whole incident was an accident blown out of proportion.
She confirmed when the hapless issue happened that her toddler son was the one who took the bracelet without her knowledge and was later labelled a thief for something she had no idea about it.
Sitting in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz Fm, she said it is an old she is not ready to rub salt in.
Meanwhile, Emelia Brobbey won the Best Indigenous Actress of the Year and was nominated for Best Supporting Actress of the Year at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2016.
She won Best Gallywood Actress and Best Philanthropist at the 3G Awards in New York in 2018. She won the 2019 Best Actor Female indigenous at the ZAFAA Global Award which was presented by the African Film Academy Awards.
