I try not to stress myself too much on relationships or follow up any rules. I go with my instincts, learn from my lessons and try to move on to the next step, making sure I do not leave my lessons behind.

Before getting in-depth with this topic, I did some research on the phrase ‘one night stand’. The phrase was originally used to be referred to a single night theatre performance, usually by a guest group on tour.
One night stand (ONS) today is a term which implies a sexual encounter between two individuals who do not know each other. The practice is normally not planned and neither of the participants is in it for a relationship. I personally do not have any opinion on one night stands, but that does not mean I would want to practice it either. As rational individuals, we make decisions according to what we think is logical.
Some people choose to have sex on the first date and others would rather go on more dates before they decide to have any form of intimacy. Does it really make a difference if one chooses to have sex on a first date, wait for some months or have a one night stand?
I personally think that one night stands can be compared to sex on the first date, with the exception that ONS does not need any planning as a normal date would be.
ONS is a practice I wouldn’t get myself into, even if it happens that I have a moment with the person. I am sure some will agree with me on this.
I am pretty aware that some men/women would not want to have anything to do with each other after a one night stand. But can a one night stand in some cases turn into Love and a relationship? And what do you think would make someone have a relationship after a one night stand?
