It is not often that I am on time when I make plans to meet my friends for the movies, café or a night out. This time I was very much on time for our movie plans, with about 30mins ahead of our schedule. I decided to go to the nearest café right across the street and wait for my friends. I found some magazines when I went to order a hot chocolate.
I noticed that Tiger Wood’s “hot stuff” is still hot. Poor man I said to myself, although my heart goes to the wife and kids the most. The café was almost empty as it was getting to the closing time. I sat at the corner to enjoy my hot chocolate when I heard two women having a conversation about a mutual friend.
Their friend has found out about her cheating husband. These women were conversing in a very low voice, but little did they know that my ears are very sharp. My phone interrupted my attention from the conversation. I couldn’t even finish my hot drink. My friends had arrived before time and so went to join them for the cinema. I couldn’t stop thinking of the conversation while crossing the street. I hurried up to my friends. My first question I asked my friends before they could say hello was,
“Would you leave your husband or boyfriend if you discover he has cheated on you and now the woman is having his baby”?
I told my friends about the conversation I heard at the café and wondered what they would have done if they were in that woman’s shoes. So now I am asking GhanaCelebrities.Com readers the same question. Do you think partners should get divorce in a situation like this? I mean marriage is about for better and for worse as much as being faithful. That is what the vow is right?
