GhanaCelebrities.Com is delighted to announce K’NAF-Gye Nyame Foundation’s 1st annual Fashion Aid Charity Event. The event will take place on Saturday 22nd May 2010 in Accra, Ghana –K’NAF-Gye Nyame is a foundation founded by K’NAF Couture LTD.
Being the first of its kind the Fashion Aid Charity will create a platform for an auction of clothes. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Golden Hearts Trust which caters for underprivileged children with Congenital Heart Disease – funding the much needed surgeries which their families cannot afford.
As well as focusing on merging fashion in aid to assist in the development of Ghana, the event also aims at touching and improving the lives of many. This it will achieve by employing and nurturing local talents, creating jobs, mentoring people with little or no experience.
K`NAF Couture is a fashion label by Kayda Nana Afriyie Frimpong (KNAF) – a graduate from International Academy of Design with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design. Before its recent relocation to Ghana, K`NAF Couture was based in the United States.
KNAF provides highly stylish, custom-made and original clothes are designed to accentuate the female figure and compliment the male build. K`NAF Gye Nyame Foundation hopes to contribute to the development of the African fashion industry and economy through commerce and charity with its major driving force being Philanthropy.
