A popular online influencer, Demaris Martinez was tragically killed in a gruesome car accident in Paramus NJ.
Martinez’s death occurred Saturday, September 21st, 2024 when she was hit by a car and a truck while attempting to cross Route 17 on foot.
Paramus Police said a woman was attempting to cross the southbound lanes when she was hit by a white Kia and subsequently by a tractor-trailer.
Authorities did not officially identify the victim but friends took to social media to mourn Demaris’ demise.

“Demaris D. Martinez you got me lost for words girl,” one person wrote in reaction to the tragedy.
“We’ll miss you love Demaris D. Martinez,” a second user wrote on social media.
Demaris Martinez was a New-Jersey based social media influencer and content creator with close to 50k followers on Facebook alone. She shared content to YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and other social channels on beauty, lifestyle, shopping cooking etc. Martinez originally hailed from Miami. She loved traveling, shopping, cooking, writing, & art. She had a son, Kameron.
