Ghanaians have lambasted Kidi for the choice of clothes he wore to perform on stage at the Independence Square.
Kidi was among the artiste who performed on Saturday evening at the Ghana Report job and entrepreneurship fair concert at the independent square.
Kidi’s outfit for his performance sparked outrage. He was wearing shorts, a T-shirt and a cap. Some people in the comments section wondered whether he was going to play football with the boys boys in his neighbourhood hence the reason for his choice of outfit.
They blamed his fashion choice for getting rejected in New York.
During his performance at the Vegandele Festival in New York, Kidi was ignored by the attendees as they struggled to identify him and his songs. It was a humiliating moment for Kidi and Ghana at large.
