Hank Parker Accident – Legendary Bass Fisherman Hospitalized After Falling From Tree Stand

Legendary bass fisherman Hank Parker is lucky to be alive following a freak accident.

Parker fell over 30ft from a tree stand and had to be life-flighted to a hospital to receive treatment.

Thankfully, he appears to be doing okay and recorded a couple of videos to reveal he’s on the road to recovery albeit in a lot of pain.

According to Parker, he fell out of a tree when a strap broke. He fell over 30ft, landed on his back and broke his neck.

Luckily, he suffered no broken bones or fractures but Parker said his neck was still in a lot of pain. After receiving treatment he was discharged and is recovering back home.

He thanked all his fans, friends and family who were so concerned over his condition and reached out to him. Hank said he was truly blessed to have so many people watching out for him.

Many of those friends and fans also commented on his post to express relief that he managed to survive this ordeal.

“Boy someone was at your side on that day. Glad you’re okay praying for a quick recovery,” one comment read.

Another said: “So glad you’re ok – many of us old guys see you as a childhood hero – hang in there Mr Parker,”

Hank Parker is a legendary bass fisherman who started his fishing career in 1976 when he began fishing the National Bass Association Tournament Circuit. He won the national championship in his first season and went on to win the Bassmaster Classic in 1979 and 1989.

Parker was also the first angler to win the B.A.S.S. Grand Slam of Bass Fishing, which includes the Classic, B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year, and the B.A.S.S. SuperBass Tournament. He has been inducted into the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame, the Legends of the Outdoors Hall of Fame. Then,and the International Game Fish Association Hall of Fame. He was voted one of the top 10 greatest anglers of all-time in ESPN’s Greatest Angler Debate.

Hank hosts the “Hank Parker’s Outdoor Magazine.” which he launched in 1985. Born on March 26, 1953, Parker is 71 years of age. He is married with four kids. Having won incredible prizes throughout his career, Hank Parker has a net worth of about $4million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. He is from Maiden, North Carolina but resides in Union County, South Carolina.
