Popular streamer Ishowspeed has gotten social media wondering if he is in jail after reports emerged online about his arrest.
Within the past day, reports have emerged on Instagram, X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok alleging the massively controversial streamer was arrested.
While the reports claim Speed was arrested, details about what got him nabbed, which law enforcement agency grabbed him, where he’s been detained or such similarly important factual details have not been provided so far.
All that’s been provided are the claim of his incarceration, leaving confusion among fans over the actual fate of Ishowspeed.
IShowspeed Arrested – Is Ishowspeed in Jail?
The viral claim about the alleged arrest of Ishowspeed first emerged on social media from the X account of a user known as Liutauras.
Liutauras (@Liutauras_) on the platform, shared a video of Ishowspeed and his new robot dog which has a flamethrower.
The video shows Speed behaving in a suggestive manner towards the dog, as can be expected from someone of Speed’s maturity level.
Liutaurus then claimed that IShowspeed had gotten into trouble for his behavior in the video.
“IShowSpeed has been ARRESTED for being inappropriate with his new robot on stream 😭,” he claimed in the Tuesday evening video which was accompanied by a supposed mug shot.
A similar report which was probably based off Liutauras video emerged on Instagram on the account 4tcentt.
Sharing the supposed mug shot of Ishowspeed, the account said: “#IShowSpeed Has Reportedly Been Arrested On Unknown Charges,”
Both of these posts where noticeably light on details and hence sparked reactions from fans who were confused over why Ishowspeed would get arrested.

“Wouldn’t be suprised if he caught a SA (s*xual assault) charge 😭,” one comment on the Instagram post read.
Another said: “😭got speed gettin aressted before gta6.”
A skeptical fan reacted with one simple word: “Capp”
Despite curiosity from fans, it’s highly likely Ishowspeed never got arrested and never got sent to jail because the claims are being circulated by just a few accounts on social media and have not been widely reported which would be the case if true.
One time Speed was arrested was on August 8, 2022 when he was swatted following a staged prank call with the Lisbon Police Department. Officers of the unit stormed his house and arrested him which was filmed by a friend on his phone.

Ishowspeed real name Darren Jason Watkins Jr is an American Youtuber, streamer, athlete and musician.
Speed, as he’s sometimes called, is a completely over-the-top streamer whose content often goes out of bounds due to his over enthusiastic personality. He became famous at only 16 years of age when he amassed over 1 million subscribers in a matter of days in 2021.
He has since gone on to become one of the biggest streamers on the globe and also one of the most controversial. He is known for his completely insane love for soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo and consequently his feud with fans of Ronaldo’s biggest rival, Messi.
