Toke Makinwa has extended how appreciation and gratefulness to each and every single soul who has donated to the genuinely poor and needy food items, monies or anything that would help their life a little lot comfortable in this lockdown period.
What she is not so happy about is the fact that these benefactors go ahead and film their kind gestures, put it on social media for the world to see that they have executed an act of kindness.
According to Toke, she is not throwing shade, neither is she calling anyone out— all she claims she is doing is for people to stop all of that because God in his infinite glories would reward them for their benevolence.

Her tweet; “Here’s an appeal not shade, not a call out either, I salute everyone who’s giving out to the less privileged this season, you are not the government and your kindness will be rewarded by God but can we stop filming the recipients of your benevolence?”
Some agreed with her whilst others felt, those who give just want other people to know that there are still some kind people out there.
