Self-acclaimed king of Ghanaian Dancehall music, Shatta Wale has disclosed the reasons behind his numerous controversial songs.
Speaking in an interview on Luv FM, the Shatta Movement boss revealed that he deliberately drops controversial tracks just to take away the minds of Ghanaians from the current hardship due to the “almost destroyed economy”.

Additionally, he reacted to the claims that he has been doing songs just to show how wealthy he is than his colleagues.
According to him, he drops such songs to encourage the youth to work harder because he believes just as he has been able to make it through the hard times, they can also make it.

“I feel it. I don’t eat too much. When I’m hungry and I think about things I’ve been through, I know that that’s not how things were. I don’t release songs for people to know I’m rich, I want people to know that I bought a car because I hustled and believe in myself”, he said.
