Reggae dancehall artiste and ‘king’ of live band music in Ghana, Samini has since last week been on a media crusade preaching for the legalization of marijuana.
Samini who happens to be a farmer believes that marijuana possesses benefits to help the country increase their revenue. In an interview with Okay FM, the artiste said;
“I am a farmer. I need licence to grow wee and export it to the industries that use wee for medicinal purposes and every other thing important apart from smoking. If I get the licence to grow wee, I’ll supply to the medical industry, the oil industry…”
On Joy FM’s drive time show this afternoon, August 27, the artiste has added more fire to his campaign.
